received a letter from the United States Department of Transportation
Procurement Office requesting you to sign an authorization to release
financial information you should
NOT
respond --- it is
FRAUDULENT!
If you
did respond to this letter notify your financial institution immediately
to watch for unauthorized wire transfers. If you have sustained
financial loss as a result of this fraud it is recommend that you
contact the local U.S. Secret Service Office, the U.S. DOT Inspector
General Hotline and also file a report with your local police.
