Tauzel promoted at NYFB John Tauzel was promoted last month to Associate Director for Regulatory and Legislative Affairs. He has been with Farm Bureau since 2003. He is a Cornell University graduate and grew up on an dairy farm in Schenevus. The newly created position will have Tauzel responsible for monitoring actions by state regulatory agencies and advocating for agricultural concerns. “John has consistently proven to be a tremendous asset for New York Farm Bureau members both in his regulatory and legislative work,” said Julie Suarez, director of public policy. “Whether it’s explaining to a legislator how agricultural assessment soil values are calculated or dealing with complicated transportation compliance issues, John has the ability to communicate the farm perspective and achieve results.
