Jeff Carmichael, Executive Director for the Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation District in LaFayette, is the new president of the NYS Conservation District Employees’ Association.

The association provides leadership, legislative support, and training to employees of the 58 soil and water conservation districts in New York State. Carmichael is in the initial months of a two-year term. He has been with the OCSWCD since 1998.
