First Pioneer Farm Credit, the largest lender to agriculture in the Northeast, is offering a free dairy “benchmark” comparison report to any dairy farmer in the organization’s service area.

Dairy farmers can receive a My Farm comparison report in which individual farm information is compared to information from the Northeast Dairy Farm Summary report. The offer is announced as part of June Dairy Month and farmers interested are asked to take advantage of the offer by July 31.

“We believe in the future of Northeast dairy farming,” First Pioneer President and CEO Bill Lipinski said. “It’s a tough business and we want it to be rewarding to those who work hard to be successful dairy producers. Unfortunately 2006 was one of the worst financial years for dairy farmers in the past 30 years.
