Assistant Director of Public Policy


New York Farm Bureau is the state’s largest general farm organization, and is seeking an individual to represent the Farm Bureau organization before the legislative and executive branches of state and federal government, and coordinate the grassroots member involvement, along with analyzing new regulations, preparing reports and fact sheets, and researching legislation and regulatory issues, as needed. Other responsibilities include establishing and maintaining working relationships with agency representatives and staff, and presenting organizational positions consistent with policy.


Candidates should possess strong research, communication, and interpersonal skills.  Legislative and agricultural experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree required.
