Does your county provide in any way a safety program or event?
Could you use a set of 8 posters that are very “People Friendly”?
Safety is one of the basics of the Promotion & Education objective listing. For the 2004 activity year those counties that sponsor, host or provide (in any of a variety of ways) a safety program within their community are eligible to receive a FREE set of 8 Safety Sam posters.
This child-friendly set can be laminated and used at the safety program events, the county fair, or any other event where there is an opportunity to showcase. These posters are focused on many of the activities carried on by your friends and neighbors, not just the farm community, but the entire community!
We also have made some printed ATV Safety Sheets available (in sample quantities) that can be ordered from the North Dakota Farm Bureau if you require larger amounts or would like additional sets of posters.
We hope that you will keep safety in mind as you spend your days within what could be a very dangerous environment. Sometimes we do things so often, we forget the dangers involved. We are setting an example for our children, so set the right example. Call your State Committee Representative to obtain a set of posters for your county.
