NYSDAM and DEC Letter to EPA

NYFB would like to thank the Department of Agriculture and Markets and the Department of Environmental Conservation for their recent letter to EPA requesting an extension of the comment period for proposed changes to the Clean Water Act. Their request, as well as one sent from NYFB, has resulted in an extension of the comment period to October 20. The proposed changes could significantly impact farming in New York and we appreciate the administration taking a serious look at this proposal and its impact in the state.
