CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

New York Farm Bureau (NYFB) is conducting a search to identify its next Chief Executive Officer. NYFB is a non-profit agricultural membership organization whose mission is "To Serve and Strengthen Agriculture", and who is known as the voice of New York agriculture.

NYFB's Chief Executive Officer is responsible for providing exemplary leadership for the organization's 40+ professional staff, and for managing the day-to-day business of NYFB and subsidiary corporations. The ideal candidate will posess the following skills and characteristics:

- Excellent overall management skills and experience;

- Excellent financial management expertise and experience;

- A strong knowledge of the Farm Bureau organization structure and culture;

- The highest standards of ethics and integrity;

- Excellent communication and team-building skills; and

- A dedication to agriculture

A four-year college degree and eight to ten years of related experience is recommended, and a Masters Degree or MBA is a plus. A strong Farm Bureau background is preferred.
