New York Farm Bureau Statement on U.S. Senate Vote on Infrastructure Plan

The following may be attributed to NYFB President David Fisher:

“New York Farm Bureau has long prioritized reinvestment into our country’s infrastructure and applaud today’s bi-partisan vote in the U.S. Senate on the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The plan will modernize our roads, bridges, and ports, making it easier to transport food and products our farms produce across the country and around the world. It will also continue needed funding to make sure everyone has access to high-speed broadband, necessary infrastructure to access records, data, and market our businesses in today’s competitive world. This bill is an investment into our country’s future without saddling our farms with an increased tax burden. New York Farm Bureau encourages the same bi-partisan support in the House, demonstrating that working together we can make positive change in this country.”
