Signature Program: Food & Farm Experience (FFX)
The Food & Farm Experience (FFX), a signature program of the NYFB Foundation, is an immersive, hands-on learning opportunity designed for middle and high school counselors.
Held each October, this multi-day, expenses-paid program introduces participants to the wide range of careers available in agriculture — from production and agribusiness to food processing, technology and beyond.
Through farm tours, industry visits and direct engagement with agricultural professionals, FFX builds lasting connections between educators and the opportunities available within New York’s food and farming system.
Participants are selected through a nomination and application process. Information on upcoming events will be posted as available.
